Book Review: Learning Drupal 6 Module Development

Drupal is one of the most popular content management systems. It is modular, extensible, customizable and powerful. Unlike Joomla!, which uses Object Oriented Programming (OOP) approach, Drupal uses fully procedural approach. Drupal’s code base is minimal and simple to understand. Like Joomla! you can develop modules (equivalent in Joomla! is called extension) to extend Drupal’s functionalities.
Drupal 6 is the latest stable release available now. One thing to remember is that there are lots of differences between Drupal 5 and Drupal 6. Drupal 7 will also be different by architecture. After releasing Drupal 6, the main problem users face is inadequacy of Drupal 6 modules. Most of the Drupal 5 modules don’t work in Drupal 6. Matt Butcher’s latest book on Drupal 6 Module Development would help others to develop more and more Drupal 6 modules.
Now let’s come to the book on Drupal 6 module development. As per the publisher – Packt Publishing - the book is targeted to ‘PHP developers who want to add features to Drupal 6.” This book should enable PHP developers to develop functional Drupal 6 modules.
The book explains well what it supposed to explain. From the very beginning it discusses Drupal’s architecture, steps necessary to develop a Drupal module, and so on. Then it starts with a simple example of developing a module. Then it discusses other details. Any PHP developer with some little knowledge about how Drupal functions can understand this example easily.
Most interesting part of the book, I think, are chapter 4 and 4, where we learn about creating content types and using Ajax and such things. It shows how we use Drupal’s JavaScript libraries, jQuery and so on. Here we also know about Database API and menu systems used by Drupal.
I am happy to learn all these from this book. Hope, others can also learn developing Drupal 6 module by reading and following the instructions in this book. However, one thing I am interested – and hoped I’ll get some hints here – is that I’ll be able to convert my old Drupal 5.x modules to Drupal 6 modules. It would be excellent if the book could show the differences of Drupal 5 and Drupal 6 modules, and showed us how to make a Drupal 5 module to work fine in Drupal 6. I think, Packt Publishing will look into this and incorporate this in future edition of the book – Learning Drupal 6 Module Development [ISBN 1847194443] by Matt Butcher.

Packt announced Zen Cart: E-commerce Application Development
I am very much happy this morning. While opening my computer at office, I visited website of Packt Publishing (www.packtpub.com) and found that my book has been announced on their web. It's a milestone. I started writing on this in November 2007. And I also remember that the idea sharing of this book started in last July. So, it's finally going to be published after 1 year. Not a long time.
Anyone who has ever written a book knows how it feels writing a book. It's really a tremendous job! You need patience and perseverance all the long. Although I have written some other book on information technologies and those are already published, this book really fascinated me! Why? I'll tell that later, sometime! In brief, it's a different experience, totally!

Joomla! Cash
There is no doubt that Joomla! is the best open source PHP based content management system. Its rapid growth is really amazing! Now it is in version 1.5, which made a major overhaul of its code system.
Joomla! can be used for any purpose site. One of the best features of Joomla! is that you can customize it and extend it to your needs. You can virtually use it for any purpose - general company website, document management system to e-commerce site. Joomla! has over 3000 extensions and plug-ins. Among these some extensions can be used as money-making tools.
Joomla! Cash authored by Brandon Dawson and Tom Canavan, and published by Packt Publishing, UK, shows you how to make money using Joomla! and its associated extensions.
Packt has published a lot of book on open source technologies - especially on content management systems. If you have already read some books from Packt Publishing, you are aware that their books are narrowly focused to some solution. Instead of discussing technology overview it helps readers to solve problems. It has published some other titles on Joomla! - namely :
- Building Websites with Joomla! 1.5,
- Mastering Joomla! 1.5 Extension and Framework Development,
- Learning Joomla! 1.5 Extension Development: Creating Modules, Components, and Plugins with PHP,

The book has discussed some extensions, and moreover there are some long discussion on website marketing, search engine optimization , generating revenues, etc. - which are not specific to Joomla!, rather generic.
Chapter 3 of this book discusses on Generating Traffic. This chapter mainly shows you how to optimize a Joomla! site with keywords, research keywords, and use search engine friendly URLs by using openSEF. This Chapter also discusses link baiting, but it is not clear how this can be implemented in Joomla!
In Chapter 6, you will learn about advertising in Joomla!. It shows you how to use banner ads and run affiliate program using CJ Affilates module and iDevAffilitate. However, readers may still expect some through discussion on these two modules. It also shows use of VirtueMart for running an online shop. VirtueMart alone deserves a full book - but a full chapter has not been assigned for this strong shopping cart. It would be better if a full Chapter could be dedicated to running online shop using VirtueMart. In fact, when I saw the title, I thought that the book is on VirtueMart. In think there are other people who will also think so.
Chapter 7 is on disaster recovery, which, I think, is very much appropriate for Building Websites with Joomla! book, and less appropriate for Joomla! Cash.
At the end, Chapter 8 really shows you how you can sell your Joomla! skills and earn money on the internet.
As a whole, the book is good for getting overview of extensions and tools available for Joomla! which can be used for generating revenues. If you expect more details, or some must work technique of making money or just money making machine - I am sure - you may be disappointed.

Flock browser!
I am really impressed with Flock browser. I am busy with logging into different Social networking sites - and really was struggling with checking flickr, facebook, youtube, blogspot, wordpress, tumblr, twitter, etc. Flock made it easy! all I have to do now is logging into these account once. Then it gives me opportunity to check all and get instant update from all! It shows status of my friends in the sidebar! It's really fun flocking. Flock - as soon as you can.

সুযোগ কারো একার নয়
সুযোগ তার কাছে আসেনি কিংবা সুযোগ থেকে তাকে বঞ্চিত করা হয়েছে এজন্য কেউ দরিদ্র থাকে না; কেউ সব সম্পদ আহরণ করে দরিদ্রের জন্য কোনো সুযোগ রাখে নি এটি সত্য নয়। আপনি হযত কোনো ব্যবসা শুরু করতে পারছেন না অন্যরা সেটি করছে বলে, কিন্তু আপনার নিকট অন্য অনেকে পথ উন্মুক্ত আছে। আপনার পক্ষে কোনো রেললাইনের নিয়ন্ত্রণ নেয়া সম্ভব নয়, তাই সেটি সরকারের হাতেই আছে। তাই রেলের ব্যবসা বাদ দিয়ে অন্য আরো অনেক ব্যবসাই আপনি শুরু করতে পারেন। রেল চালু করতে পারবেন না, কিন্তু বাস সার্ভিস কিংবা নৌযানের ব্যবসায় যেতে পারেন। আপনার দৃষ্টি অন্যদিকে ফেরান, যেখানে এখনও কেউ ভিড় করে নি। ব্যবসার জগতে এমন অনেক উদাহরণ আছে যেখানে নূতন কিছুতে হাত দিয়েই সাফল্য পাওয়া যায়।
আপনি যদি এ মুহূর্তে বড় কোনো কারখানায় চাকরি করেন তাহলে সেই কারখানার মালিক হওয়া হয়ত আপনার পক্ষে সম্ভব হবে না; কিন্তু আপনি যদি বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করে কাজ করেন তাহলে শীঘ্রই সেই চাকরি ছেড়ে দিয়ে গ্রামে ফিরে যেতে পারেন এবং একটি কৃষিখামার গড়ে তুলতে পারেন। এরকম অপার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে আপনার বিকাশের জন্য। এরকম একটি কৃষিখামারে আপনি অনেক খাদ্য উৎপাদন করতে পারবেন, আপনার ব্যবসা ক্রমশ বিকশিত হতে পারবে যদি আপনি সেই বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করেন। আপনি হয়ত মনে করতে পারেন কৃষি খামারের জন্য প্রয়োজণীয় জমি পাওয়া আপনার জন্য অসম্ভব; কিন্তু আমি প্রমাণ করব যে এটি অসম্ভব নয়, এবং আপনি যদি বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করেন তাহলে অবশ্যই সেই জমি পাবেন।
বিভিন্ন সময়ে বিভিন্ন সুযোগ আসে; আজ যে সুযোগ আপনার সামনে আছে কাল তা আর থাকবে না, কিন্তু নূতন সুযোগ অবশ্যই দেখা দেবে। সমাজের বিকাশের সাথে সাথে আমাদের কাজের সুযোগ প্রতিদিন নূতনভাবে তৈরি হচ্ছে। একটি সময় ছিল যখন টাইপিং শিখে অনেকে কিছু কাজ করতে পারত; এখন কম্পিউটার কম্পোজ শিখেও তা হবে না। বরং আরো অনেক কিছুই জানতে হবে কম্পিউটার সম্পর্কে। এখন যদি কেউ মোবাইল ফোন মেরামত জানে, তাহলে সে আগের টাইপিস্টের চেয়ে বেশি উপার্জন করতে পারবে। এভাবে একেক সময়ে একেক সম্ভাবনা আপনার সামনে এসে হাজির হবে।
সম্ভাবনার কোনো কমতি নেই; সম্ভাবনার প্রাচুর্যে আমরা ভাসছি। আমাদের কাজ হবে সম্ভাবনার এই স্রোতে নিজেদের শামিল করা; বিপরীত স্রোতে সাতার কাটা নয়।
সুতরাং বলতে পারি যে কর্মজীবী মানুষ – ব্যক্তি কিংবা পুরো শ্রেণী – সম্ভাবনা বা সুযোগ থেকে কখনই বঞ্চিত নয়। শ্রমিকদের এই সুবিধা থেকে বঞ্চিত করে রাখা হয়নি; মালিকরা তাদের সুযোগ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করে রাখে নি; তারা পুঁজি ও কারখানার কারাগারে বন্দিও নয়। তারা গরিব হয়ে থাকে কারণ তারা ওই বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করে না। যদি আমেরিকার শ্রমিকরা তা করতে চায় তাহলে বেলজিয়াম ও অন্যান্য দেশের শ্রমিকদের দেখে শিখতে পারে; স্থাপন করতে পারে বিশাল বিপনী বিতান, সমবায়ী কারখানা; তারা তাদের নিজের শ্রেণীর কাউকে নির্বাচিত করে দেশ চালানোর দায়িত্বও দিতে পারে, এবং নিজেদের স্বার্থে আইনও প্রণযণ করতে পারে। এভাবে কয়েক বছরের মধ্যেই তারা যথেষ্ট উন্নতি সাধন করতে পারে।
এভাবে বিশেষ পদ্ধতিতে কাজ করার মাধ্যমে শ্রমিক শ্রেণী প্রভুতে পরিণত হতে পারে; অন্যদের মতো তাদের জন্য বিত্ত অর্জনের নিয়ম একই। এটি তাদেরকে শিখতে হবে; আর এটি না শিখে আগের মতোই কাজ করে যেতে থাকলে তাদেরকে এখনকার মতোই থাকতে হবে। এই শ্রেণীর কোনো একজন শ্রমিক অবশ্যই তাদের সামষ্টিক আবেগ থেকে বেরিয়ে আসতে পারে, এবং বিশেষভাবে কাজ করার নিয়ম শিখে ধনার্জনের পথে অগ্রসর হতে পারে। এই বই তাকে এই বিশেষ পদ্ধতি শেখানোর জন্যই।
সম্পদের সরবরাহ কমিয়ে দিয়ে কাউকে দারিদ্রের মধ্যে রাখা হয়েছে এটি ঠিক নয়; সবার জন্য যথেষ্ঠ’র বেশি সরবরাহ আছে। কেবল যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে যে পরিমাণ নির্মাণ সামগ্রী আছে তা দিয়ে প্রতিটি পরিবারের জন্য ওয়াশিংটনের ক্যাপিটলের মতো প্রাসাদ গড়ে তোলা সম্ভব; কেবল আমেরিকাতে চাষ করে এত উল, তুলা, রেশম উৎপাদন করা সম্ভব যে তা সারা পৃথিবীর মানুষের চাহিদা মেটাতে সক্ষম হবে। আমাদের কাছে এখনও সলোমনের গুপ্তধন রয়ে গেছে, ইচ্ছে করলেই আমরা সেসবকে কাজে লাগাতে পারি।
দৃশ্যমান সরবরাহ বাস্তবে অফুরন্ত; আর অদৃশ্যমান সরবরাহ সত্যিই অফুরন্ত।
এ পৃথিবীতে আপনি যা কিছু দেখছেন তা একটি আদি শক্তি থেকে তৈরি হয়েছে, সেই আদি শক্তি থেকেই সব কিছু তৈরি হয়েছে, এবং হচ্ছে।
এই শক্তি থেকে নূতন নূতন আকার পাওয়া যাচ্ছে, পুরনো বিলীন হয়ে নূতন আকার পাচ্ছে; কিন্তু সবকিছুই এই শক্তি থেকে তৈরি।
আকারবিহীন এই শক্তি কিংবা আদি শক্তির কোনো অভাব এ পৃথিবীতে নেই। গোটা বিশ্বই এই আদি শক্তি দিয়ে তৈরি; কিন্তু কেবল এটি দিয়েই এ বিশ্ব তৈরি হয়নি। এসব আকারের মধ্যকার ফাঁকা স্থান, ভেতরের স্থান, আশেপাশের স্থান – সবকিছুই পূর্ণ আছে এই শক্তিতে, এই শক্তি ছড়িয়ে আছে সর্বত্র।
এখন যা কিছু তৈরি হয়েছে তার চেয়ে দশ হাজার গুণ বেশি আরো তৈরি করা যেতে পারে, তারপরও এসব বস্তু তৈরির আদি শক্তির কোনো ঘাটতি হবে না। কারণ আমরা এখন শক্তির অজরতা সম্পর্কে জানি। আমরা জানি যে শক্তি বস্তুতে পরিণত হতে পারে, আবার বস্তু শক্তিতে। তবে যেকোনো সময় এ বিশ্বে মোট শক্তির কোনো পরিবর্তন ঘটবে না। শক্তি কখনও বস্তুতে পরিণত হবে। আমাদের এ বিশ্বে চারপাশে শূণ্যস্থানে যে শক্তি ছড়িয়ে আছে সেটিকে আমরা বস্তুতে পরিণত করতে পারি। তাহলে আর কোনো বস্তুর অভাব আমাদের হবে না।
তাই প্রকৃতি গরিব এই কারণে কোনো মানুষ গরিব নয়, কিংবা প্রকৃতিতে যথেষ্ট বস্তু নেই তাই কেউ গরিব নয়।
প্রকৃতি অফুরন্ত সম্পদের ভান্ডার, এই সরবরাহে কোনো ঘাটতি হবে না কখনও। আদি শক্তি তার সৃজনী ক্ষমতা নিয়ে সর্বদা একটি থেকে আরেক বস্তু তৈরি করে যাচ্ছে। নুতন নূতন বস্তুর সৃষ্টি করছে। তাই কাঁচামালের অভাবে কোনো বস্তুর উৎপাদন বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে সেটি ভাবার দরকার নেই; মাটি যখন তার উৎপাদনক্ষমতা হারিয়ে ফেলবে – তখন খাদ্য উৎপাদন কমে যাবে – এটি ভাবার কোনো কারণ নেই। নূতন কোনো পদ্ধতি বেরিয়ে আসবে, মানুষ নূতন কোনো উপায় বের করবে – কিংবা এই প্রকৃতি নিজেই সেই মাটিকে পুনরায় উর্বর করার ব্যবস্থা নেবে। ভূগর্ভ থেকে সকল সোনা ও রূপা তুলে নিলেও সেটি নি:শেষ হবে না। আরো সোনা ও রূপা তৈরি হবে, যদি সত্যিই সোনা ও রূপা মানুষের দরকার হয়। প্রকৃতি মানুষের প্রয়োজনানুসারে সবকিছুই তৈরি করে।
সমষ্টিগতভাবে মানুষের জন্যও এটি সত্য; পুরো মানব বংশ সামগ্রিকভাবে প্রাচুর্যে ভরপুর, এর মধ্যে কোনো একজন দরিদ্র হলে সেটি এই কারণে যে সে বিশেষ নিয়ম মেনে কাজ করছে না। এই বিশেষ নিয়ম মানলেই প্রতিটি ব্যক্তি সফল হতে পারবে, পারবে ধনী হতে।
শক্তি নিরাকার, কিন্তু এই নিরাকার শক্তিই রূপ নিতে পারে সকার বস্তুতে। এই আদি শক্তি জীবন্ত, এবং এটি ক্রমাগত জীবনের দিকে প্রবাহিত হয়।
জীবনের স্বাভাবিক ও অন্তর্গত তাগিদ হলো বেশি করে বেঁচে থাক; প্রকৃতির বুদ্ধিমত্তা এই জীবনকে ক্রমাগত বাড়িয়ে দিতে থাকে, বাড়িয়ে দেয় এর ব্যাপ্তি, বাড়িয়ে দেয় এর রূপ,রস, গন্ধ; জীবনকে প্রকাশ করে পূর্ণ রূপে। বিভিন্ন আকারে সমাহারে গঠিত এই বিশ্ব গড়ে উঠেছে নিরাকার শক্তির মাধ্যমে, এই শক্তি নিজেকে পূর্ণরূপে প্রকাশের জন্যই আকার নেয়।
এই মহাবিশ্ব জীবন্ত, সবসময় ছুটে চলছে আরো জীবনের দিকে – জীবনকে আরো পূর্নাঙ্গ রূপ দিতে।
প্রকৃতি গড়ে উঠেছে জীবনকে এগিয়ে নেয়ার জন্য; এর একমাত্র লক্ষ্য হলো জীবনকে বর্ধন করা। এর জন্য যা দরকার, প্রকৃতি তাই করে; তাই এ বিশ্বপ্রকৃতিতে কোনো অভাব থাকতে পারে না। কারণ সেটি করলে স্রষ্টা নিজেই তার সৃষ্টির অসারতা প্রমাণ করে।
বিত্তের সরবরাহ কমিয়ে দিয়ে আপনাকে দরিদ্র করে রাখা হয়নি; এটি প্রমাণিত হবে যখন আপনি সাফল্যের বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করে। বুঝতে পারবেন সম্পদ আপনার মঙ্গলের জন্য, আপনার আদেশের জন্যই অপেক্ষা করছে। আপনার কাজ হবে সেই সম্পদকে বশে আনার ভাষা জানা।
আপনি যদি এ মুহূর্তে বড় কোনো কারখানায় চাকরি করেন তাহলে সেই কারখানার মালিক হওয়া হয়ত আপনার পক্ষে সম্ভব হবে না; কিন্তু আপনি যদি বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করে কাজ করেন তাহলে শীঘ্রই সেই চাকরি ছেড়ে দিয়ে গ্রামে ফিরে যেতে পারেন এবং একটি কৃষিখামার গড়ে তুলতে পারেন। এরকম অপার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে আপনার বিকাশের জন্য। এরকম একটি কৃষিখামারে আপনি অনেক খাদ্য উৎপাদন করতে পারবেন, আপনার ব্যবসা ক্রমশ বিকশিত হতে পারবে যদি আপনি সেই বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করেন। আপনি হয়ত মনে করতে পারেন কৃষি খামারের জন্য প্রয়োজণীয় জমি পাওয়া আপনার জন্য অসম্ভব; কিন্তু আমি প্রমাণ করব যে এটি অসম্ভব নয়, এবং আপনি যদি বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করেন তাহলে অবশ্যই সেই জমি পাবেন।
বিভিন্ন সময়ে বিভিন্ন সুযোগ আসে; আজ যে সুযোগ আপনার সামনে আছে কাল তা আর থাকবে না, কিন্তু নূতন সুযোগ অবশ্যই দেখা দেবে। সমাজের বিকাশের সাথে সাথে আমাদের কাজের সুযোগ প্রতিদিন নূতনভাবে তৈরি হচ্ছে। একটি সময় ছিল যখন টাইপিং শিখে অনেকে কিছু কাজ করতে পারত; এখন কম্পিউটার কম্পোজ শিখেও তা হবে না। বরং আরো অনেক কিছুই জানতে হবে কম্পিউটার সম্পর্কে। এখন যদি কেউ মোবাইল ফোন মেরামত জানে, তাহলে সে আগের টাইপিস্টের চেয়ে বেশি উপার্জন করতে পারবে। এভাবে একেক সময়ে একেক সম্ভাবনা আপনার সামনে এসে হাজির হবে।
সম্ভাবনার কোনো কমতি নেই; সম্ভাবনার প্রাচুর্যে আমরা ভাসছি। আমাদের কাজ হবে সম্ভাবনার এই স্রোতে নিজেদের শামিল করা; বিপরীত স্রোতে সাতার কাটা নয়।
সুতরাং বলতে পারি যে কর্মজীবী মানুষ – ব্যক্তি কিংবা পুরো শ্রেণী – সম্ভাবনা বা সুযোগ থেকে কখনই বঞ্চিত নয়। শ্রমিকদের এই সুবিধা থেকে বঞ্চিত করে রাখা হয়নি; মালিকরা তাদের সুযোগ থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করে রাখে নি; তারা পুঁজি ও কারখানার কারাগারে বন্দিও নয়। তারা গরিব হয়ে থাকে কারণ তারা ওই বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অবলম্বন করে না। যদি আমেরিকার শ্রমিকরা তা করতে চায় তাহলে বেলজিয়াম ও অন্যান্য দেশের শ্রমিকদের দেখে শিখতে পারে; স্থাপন করতে পারে বিশাল বিপনী বিতান, সমবায়ী কারখানা; তারা তাদের নিজের শ্রেণীর কাউকে নির্বাচিত করে দেশ চালানোর দায়িত্বও দিতে পারে, এবং নিজেদের স্বার্থে আইনও প্রণযণ করতে পারে। এভাবে কয়েক বছরের মধ্যেই তারা যথেষ্ট উন্নতি সাধন করতে পারে।
এভাবে বিশেষ পদ্ধতিতে কাজ করার মাধ্যমে শ্রমিক শ্রেণী প্রভুতে পরিণত হতে পারে; অন্যদের মতো তাদের জন্য বিত্ত অর্জনের নিয়ম একই। এটি তাদেরকে শিখতে হবে; আর এটি না শিখে আগের মতোই কাজ করে যেতে থাকলে তাদেরকে এখনকার মতোই থাকতে হবে। এই শ্রেণীর কোনো একজন শ্রমিক অবশ্যই তাদের সামষ্টিক আবেগ থেকে বেরিয়ে আসতে পারে, এবং বিশেষভাবে কাজ করার নিয়ম শিখে ধনার্জনের পথে অগ্রসর হতে পারে। এই বই তাকে এই বিশেষ পদ্ধতি শেখানোর জন্যই।
সম্পদের সরবরাহ কমিয়ে দিয়ে কাউকে দারিদ্রের মধ্যে রাখা হয়েছে এটি ঠিক নয়; সবার জন্য যথেষ্ঠ’র বেশি সরবরাহ আছে। কেবল যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে যে পরিমাণ নির্মাণ সামগ্রী আছে তা দিয়ে প্রতিটি পরিবারের জন্য ওয়াশিংটনের ক্যাপিটলের মতো প্রাসাদ গড়ে তোলা সম্ভব; কেবল আমেরিকাতে চাষ করে এত উল, তুলা, রেশম উৎপাদন করা সম্ভব যে তা সারা পৃথিবীর মানুষের চাহিদা মেটাতে সক্ষম হবে। আমাদের কাছে এখনও সলোমনের গুপ্তধন রয়ে গেছে, ইচ্ছে করলেই আমরা সেসবকে কাজে লাগাতে পারি।
দৃশ্যমান সরবরাহ বাস্তবে অফুরন্ত; আর অদৃশ্যমান সরবরাহ সত্যিই অফুরন্ত।
এ পৃথিবীতে আপনি যা কিছু দেখছেন তা একটি আদি শক্তি থেকে তৈরি হয়েছে, সেই আদি শক্তি থেকেই সব কিছু তৈরি হয়েছে, এবং হচ্ছে।
এই শক্তি থেকে নূতন নূতন আকার পাওয়া যাচ্ছে, পুরনো বিলীন হয়ে নূতন আকার পাচ্ছে; কিন্তু সবকিছুই এই শক্তি থেকে তৈরি।
আকারবিহীন এই শক্তি কিংবা আদি শক্তির কোনো অভাব এ পৃথিবীতে নেই। গোটা বিশ্বই এই আদি শক্তি দিয়ে তৈরি; কিন্তু কেবল এটি দিয়েই এ বিশ্ব তৈরি হয়নি। এসব আকারের মধ্যকার ফাঁকা স্থান, ভেতরের স্থান, আশেপাশের স্থান – সবকিছুই পূর্ণ আছে এই শক্তিতে, এই শক্তি ছড়িয়ে আছে সর্বত্র।
এখন যা কিছু তৈরি হয়েছে তার চেয়ে দশ হাজার গুণ বেশি আরো তৈরি করা যেতে পারে, তারপরও এসব বস্তু তৈরির আদি শক্তির কোনো ঘাটতি হবে না। কারণ আমরা এখন শক্তির অজরতা সম্পর্কে জানি। আমরা জানি যে শক্তি বস্তুতে পরিণত হতে পারে, আবার বস্তু শক্তিতে। তবে যেকোনো সময় এ বিশ্বে মোট শক্তির কোনো পরিবর্তন ঘটবে না। শক্তি কখনও বস্তুতে পরিণত হবে। আমাদের এ বিশ্বে চারপাশে শূণ্যস্থানে যে শক্তি ছড়িয়ে আছে সেটিকে আমরা বস্তুতে পরিণত করতে পারি। তাহলে আর কোনো বস্তুর অভাব আমাদের হবে না।
তাই প্রকৃতি গরিব এই কারণে কোনো মানুষ গরিব নয়, কিংবা প্রকৃতিতে যথেষ্ট বস্তু নেই তাই কেউ গরিব নয়।
প্রকৃতি অফুরন্ত সম্পদের ভান্ডার, এই সরবরাহে কোনো ঘাটতি হবে না কখনও। আদি শক্তি তার সৃজনী ক্ষমতা নিয়ে সর্বদা একটি থেকে আরেক বস্তু তৈরি করে যাচ্ছে। নুতন নূতন বস্তুর সৃষ্টি করছে। তাই কাঁচামালের অভাবে কোনো বস্তুর উৎপাদন বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে সেটি ভাবার দরকার নেই; মাটি যখন তার উৎপাদনক্ষমতা হারিয়ে ফেলবে – তখন খাদ্য উৎপাদন কমে যাবে – এটি ভাবার কোনো কারণ নেই। নূতন কোনো পদ্ধতি বেরিয়ে আসবে, মানুষ নূতন কোনো উপায় বের করবে – কিংবা এই প্রকৃতি নিজেই সেই মাটিকে পুনরায় উর্বর করার ব্যবস্থা নেবে। ভূগর্ভ থেকে সকল সোনা ও রূপা তুলে নিলেও সেটি নি:শেষ হবে না। আরো সোনা ও রূপা তৈরি হবে, যদি সত্যিই সোনা ও রূপা মানুষের দরকার হয়। প্রকৃতি মানুষের প্রয়োজনানুসারে সবকিছুই তৈরি করে।
সমষ্টিগতভাবে মানুষের জন্যও এটি সত্য; পুরো মানব বংশ সামগ্রিকভাবে প্রাচুর্যে ভরপুর, এর মধ্যে কোনো একজন দরিদ্র হলে সেটি এই কারণে যে সে বিশেষ নিয়ম মেনে কাজ করছে না। এই বিশেষ নিয়ম মানলেই প্রতিটি ব্যক্তি সফল হতে পারবে, পারবে ধনী হতে।
শক্তি নিরাকার, কিন্তু এই নিরাকার শক্তিই রূপ নিতে পারে সকার বস্তুতে। এই আদি শক্তি জীবন্ত, এবং এটি ক্রমাগত জীবনের দিকে প্রবাহিত হয়।
জীবনের স্বাভাবিক ও অন্তর্গত তাগিদ হলো বেশি করে বেঁচে থাক; প্রকৃতির বুদ্ধিমত্তা এই জীবনকে ক্রমাগত বাড়িয়ে দিতে থাকে, বাড়িয়ে দেয় এর ব্যাপ্তি, বাড়িয়ে দেয় এর রূপ,রস, গন্ধ; জীবনকে প্রকাশ করে পূর্ণ রূপে। বিভিন্ন আকারে সমাহারে গঠিত এই বিশ্ব গড়ে উঠেছে নিরাকার শক্তির মাধ্যমে, এই শক্তি নিজেকে পূর্ণরূপে প্রকাশের জন্যই আকার নেয়।
এই মহাবিশ্ব জীবন্ত, সবসময় ছুটে চলছে আরো জীবনের দিকে – জীবনকে আরো পূর্নাঙ্গ রূপ দিতে।
প্রকৃতি গড়ে উঠেছে জীবনকে এগিয়ে নেয়ার জন্য; এর একমাত্র লক্ষ্য হলো জীবনকে বর্ধন করা। এর জন্য যা দরকার, প্রকৃতি তাই করে; তাই এ বিশ্বপ্রকৃতিতে কোনো অভাব থাকতে পারে না। কারণ সেটি করলে স্রষ্টা নিজেই তার সৃষ্টির অসারতা প্রমাণ করে।
বিত্তের সরবরাহ কমিয়ে দিয়ে আপনাকে দরিদ্র করে রাখা হয়নি; এটি প্রমাণিত হবে যখন আপনি সাফল্যের বিশেষ পদ্ধতি অনুসরণ করে। বুঝতে পারবেন সম্পদ আপনার মঙ্গলের জন্য, আপনার আদেশের জন্যই অপেক্ষা করছে। আপনার কাজ হবে সেই সম্পদকে বশে আনার ভাষা জানা।
